What happens when you put two powerful movements together in doing more good and helping large numbers of communities worldwide? The answer is simple; a magnitude of growth and impact!
A Liter of Light (Isang Litrong Liwanag) and Incitement have joined forces in inciting individuals with more positivity and inspire them to build more meaningful things that matters. If you’ve always had that itch in wanting to get yourself more involved in building impact and contribute to a community who can learn, grow and sustain, well you’re looking right at it.
Incitement is proud to bring “Liter of Light” to Malaysia, an international humanitarian movement bringing renewable light to energy poverty areas. After the worst flooding tragedy in Malaysian history, there has been a lot of clean up efforts and tremendous support from the Malaysian and international community.
What we are doing is complementing the clean up efforts of the affected towns and villages. The most important thing that affected the victims was the power cuts and insufficient energy. We believe we can bring impact and power the affected villages by bringing in solar powered water bottle lights.
This launch is only the tip of the iceberg; we have identified other areas in Sarawak and Sabah that needs to be lighted up and thats where we will be become very active. The main purpose of this program is to create interest, curiosity, awareness and inspire volunteers and participants to organically grow initiatives creating more light bulbs made out of water bottle throughout the whole nation. We are confident this will create a ripple effect in the country as long as we have the right partner and the right plan.
Our end goal here is to:
– Creating a renaissance of social change and spread positivity through tangible social impact projects
– Light up as many energy poverty areas in Malaysia (especially Sarawak and Sabah)
– Spark more social innovators throughout the country who could replicate similar social impact inventions
Help us spread the word and share with friends who would be interested to join and build recycled water bottle solar power lamps together 🙂
