Incitement’s logo guidelines
Making sure you are carrying forward the Incitement brand identity
On this page you will find the guidelines you will need to follow when you use the Incitement logo. Your logo will be used on all your branded materials, so make sure you read this section carefully so that you get it right. Your Incitement logo
The Incitement logo is one of the key parts of the visual identity of Incitement and its vision, and should be used on all event-related materials, such as letterheads, website(s), social media, and all other event-related signs. Under no circumstance can the Incitement logo be altered outside of what is outlined in the guidelines on this page, nor should you ever use the Incitement logo without your event name.
Below are the guidelines on how to design the Incitement logo for your website. This logo must be placed in the header or main navigation bar of your event website.
How to design your website logo
Below you can download the template you should use to create a customized logo for the website of your event. There are two different templates. Both templates include a text-field in which you can easily enter your event name (in Helvetica). This way it will automatically appear in the correct place.
Typeface.The font you should use for your event name is Helvetica Light. Helvetica Light come pre-installed on most computers. In case you don’t have Helvetica Light, you should use Source Sans Pro Regular. In case you don’t have this font either, you should use Arial.
Color.Your event logo should always include a blue Incitement logo (you can find the exact color codes below) and use either black or white for other words put inside the logo.
Alignment. The name of your event should always align left in relation to the Incitement logo, and should be size to the exact same height as the Incitement logo.

Important things to keep in mind
- Never use the Incitement logo only. You should always use the Incitement logo in combination with your event name.
- Incitement is a stand-alone event, no co-branding in any form is allowed, and so you need to ensure you event logo is only presented on a solid all-white or all-black background, and no other logos, graphics, or texts are displayed near to your event logo.
- Your event logo must appear on all your event-related materials: event website, social media, letterheads, outgoing communication to sponsors and speakers, and all other PR and marketing related materials.
Your Incitement logo + your event name
As an organizer your Incitement logo will always contain the name of the location in which your event (or, event name) is being organized. This could be the name of an area, city, or university. Below you will find examples of the only two approved versions of the logo including event name:

You should place the name of your event below the Incitement logo in case the name length exceeds the length of the part ‘INCITE’ in the logo, like this:
You can see that the name of the event (Belgrade) exceeds the word “INCITE” in the main logo. In such cases the event name goes below the Incitement logo. In case the event name does not exceed the word “INCITE”, like this:
In this case the event name should be placed on the right side next to the Incitement logo, like this:
You should always use an all-white or all-black background to present the logo for all of your event-related material, like this:
It is not allowed to place your Incitement logo on other colors, or photographic, patterned or illustrative backgrounds.
Your logo should have a minimum amount of clear space around it, so that it can be presented in the best possible way. This margin on every side of the logo should be 55 pixels at minimum in web design. In this area you cannot place other logos, graphics, or texts, like this:
Other logos, graphics, or texts cannot appear as if they were a part of the Incitement event’s logo.
On your stage you must place the following Incitement logo. This should be the only logo that is placed on the stage, and inside the frame of the video. Your stage logo should be at least 1×1 meter (one meter wide, one meter high), and should be clearly visible on your stage.
How to design your stage logo
Below you can download the logo package that you should use to create a customized logo for your event to be placed on stage. There are two different templates. Both templates include a text-field in which you can easily enter your event name (in FONT NAME). This way it will automatically appear in the correct place. You will find both a .psd and .ai file.

Also your stage logo will always contain the name of the location in which your event (or, event name) is being organized. Below you will find examples of the only two approved versions of the logo including event name:
Event name in your country’s color
For example: the flag colors of The Netherlands are red, white and blue. You can use these colors in your logo design. Remember, you can never use the name of a country as your event name.
Event name in Incitement blue
You can also use the same blue as already in the Incitement logo. You should use the same blue as for your website’s logo.
Typeface. The typeface you should use is Helvetica Regular, 53pt. If you do not have access to Helvetica light use Source Sans Pro Regular, or if you don’t have that, as a last option use Arial.
Color. The colors for Incitement blue are listed above.
Alignment. Your event name should be center aligned with the Incitement logo itself and should be placed underneath the logo as shown in the logo example below.
You should place the logo on the stage of your event, for example like this:
